Women in Technology in Nigeria(WITIN) is a Leading Community of Women in Tech. A registered non-profit organization and association, dedicated to the advancement of women and girls. WITIN fosters opportunities in tech; promotes tech leadership, digital skills and entrepreneurship initiatives and advocates gender equity reforms for women and girls; WITIN also showcases the amazing women in the tech ecosystem as role model for girls while working closely with educators to bridge the leaky pipeline in STEAM(Science Technology Engineering Arts and Maths). WITIN achieves these goals through partnerships, sponsorships and donations. WITIN nurtures a very strong community of women and girls in technology within Nigeria, Africa and beyond.

WITIN-GIRLS
We are closing the gender gap in STEAM(science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math )by nurture girls with a solid foundation in STEAM right from the classroom to established career paths. WITIN inspire girls in secondary schools to be leaders, creators and innovators of technology though our programs. By highlighting successful women in tech, we encourage and groom girls to advance their careers in STEAM. Our programs for girls include job shadowing, leadership, entrepreneurship and digital skills workshops and bootcamps, mentoring as well as our yearly Girls in ICT events.
GIRLS IN ICT
Since 2012 we join the ITU to mark the annual Girls in ICT day celebrations with initiatives to prepare girls for the tech workforce. See our efforts here
BOOTCAMP
Our icamp.ng bootcamp for girls is a digital visual literacy project that greatly enhances girls’s abilities to read and write in codes.
